Company History
Performance Display was founded by one seasoned industry veteran in 1994. From the start, the focus was on custom display solutions — and as attention from manufacturers grew, so did the company.
That growth amplified in 2002 when Melissa Lewis bought Performance Display. Lewis brought much-needed strength and experience in finance, manufacturing and operations to the company, which positioned us to win new clients and acquire new capabilities like never before.
Huston Manufacturing, a premier wood-panel processor, was acquired in 2006, and its founder, Ron Huston, joined the Performance Display team. Since then, we also acquired processes and skills from ACS Millwork and CNS Graphics — expanding our diverse capabilities in woodworking, large-format screen printing and digital graphics.
To maximize efficiencies and better share creative resources, we moved all operations to one new custom, 40,000 square-foot corporate facility in 2008. It’s the ideal place to serve our clients, who have been the key to our long-term growth. By allowing us to work with them as a partner to develop effective displays, they have enjoyed continued growth and sales — and we’re proud to share in that success.
