Challenge
The Picture People — a chain of shopping-mall portrait studios — needed a durable and whimsical prop to capture a child’s imagination. It had to be lightweight and easy for photographers to use, move and store while also being entertaining, kid-safe and durable enough to withstand the rigors of energetic children. Great photos were a must!

Solution
We created the fire truck’s rotational-molded body and chassis with color-matched resin, vinyl decals and custom wood ladders for superior durability and quality. During the process, we also created photo-ready prototypes to test the look and feel of the design.

Results
Units were drop-shipped to 300 stores nationwide. Performance Display reduced client costs by extending prop life from 2 to 3+ years. And the children love them!
