Challenge
Maytag wanted to highlight key areas inside the washing machine that are not visible to the consumer. They asked for a solution that would differentiate the product from others – to stand out from the rows of “white boxes” in the appliance area.

Solution
We created a dimensional vacuum-formed piece with magnets that make it easy to attach to the machine. The image was scaled to the product’s actual size and produced using high-quality offset printing on styrene. (It is also available on high-definition magnetic sheeting.)

Results
Our internal artists put together the layout in record time to enable completion of the project weeks before others had projected. Performance Display produced and shipped more than 3,500 of these popular promotional pieces for distribution throughout the Maytag Network as well as in most national home improvement chains.
